I am a pharmaceutical scientist and independent GxP documentation consultant based in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.
My career spans over a decade across the full drug development pipeline — from early-stage drug discovery and computational chemistry at a specialized RNA-targeted biotech, to vaccine formulation development at a world-leading influenza manufacturer, to extractables and leachables chemistry at a global CDMO, to my current role as a radiochemistry lab manager and Subject Matter Expert at a pharmaceutical analytical services company.
That range is what I bring to clients. I have worked in the environments my clients operate in. I understand the regulatory pressure, the documentation burden, and the practical realities of running a compliant analytical operation.
Radiopharmaceuticals is my deepest area of expertise — a rapidly growing sector driven by the rise of targeted alpha and beta therapies and personalized nuclear medicine. Very few independent consultants have hands-on GMP radiochemistry lab management experience. I do.
My analytical toolkit spans HPLC-RAD, radio-TLC, HPLC-MS, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and a range of wet chemistry and physical chemistry techniques across drug products, medical devices, and biological systems.
Before my US career I spent four and a half years as an R&D scientist at the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation in Romania — where I was selected for the European Space Agency Spin Your Thesis 2015 program, conducting pharmaceutical research under hyper-gravity conditions at ESA facilities in the Netherlands. That experience shaped how I think about precision, documentation, and scientific rigor.
I hold an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Bucharest — internationally recognized through World Education Services (WES) evaluation.
